Schuman Carnaval in Mdina

The 2017/2018 season of Historic Piano Concerts will open with a piano recital by Italian pianist Giulio Potenza, who won the acclaim of legendary pianist Martha Argerich and the acclaim of Pascal Rogè. Argerich described Potenza as “a deep pianist with a beautiful sound” while according to Rogè, Potenza is “a highly talented pianist with a brilliant technique and a refined musicality”. Potenza will be playing the famous ‘Carnival’ suite by R. Schumann and other pieces for solo piano upon the historic Blüthner grand piano (A.D. 1890) in the stunning Cathedral Museum in Mdina.
