The Goldberg Trio is back at the Cathedral Museum, Mdina for a most-entertaining concert tailored for the festive season.
Organized as part of the sixth edition of the Valletta International Baroque Festival, to be hosted inside the Mdina Metropolitan Cathedral.
The Valletta International Baroque Festival 2018 presents the two young virtuoso musicians Jean Rondeau and Thomas Dunford in "La Mascarade". A Harpsichord and a Lute Player, they will be getting together on January 20th inside the Aula Capitulare of the Mdina Cathedral.
The Valletta International Baroque Festival 2018 will also feature music from the Archives of the Cathedral Museum, performed by VIBE on the 21st January at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mdina, in honour of the Cathedral Archives's 50th anniversary.
"Messa a Due Cori", composed by Maltese priest Benigno Zerafa, will be performed as appropriately fit at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mdina, where Zerafa served as Maestro di Cappella between 1744 and 1786.
Kateriana Fenech is a highly-reputed British soprano with an extensive and successful international career in the world of song and opera. In this concert, she will showcase her remarkable versatility as she sings a variety of songs and song cycles in various languages from latter part of the 19th century into the 20th.
